The picturesque fishing village of HONNINGSVAG is Norway's and Europe's northern-most settlement and it is from here that you will have the opportunity to visit the North Cape. The North Cape is situated on the island of Megerøy and despite its lunar-like landscape, there are 200 different types of plants that grow here, some extremely rare. Sheer cliffs rise 1,000 feet above the Arctic Ocean, the scene made even more spectacular by the midnight sun which covers them with an eerie light. |
